The UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will release part two of its three-part report on climate change at 8 p.m. EDT on Sunday, March 30.
A press conference from Yokohama, Japan, will be streamed live online following the release. Here's the link.
In a draft version of the report leaked online, climate scientists predicted that the impacts of climate change would include shrinking GDP, food shortages, and a rise in violent conflicts.
The new Fifth Assessment Report — which is being released in three sections by three different working groups — is the IPCC's biggest report since 2007. The first part was released in September 2013.
