Glendale (United States) (AFP) - Tom Brady and the New England Patriots beat Seattle 28-24 in Super Bowl 49 on Sunday, denying the Seahawks a second straight win in the NFL championship spectacular.

The Patriots rallied from a 24-14 deficit after the third quarter to claim the victory.

Brady matched his boyhood idol, Joe Montana, and Terry Bradshaw as the only quarterbacks with four Super Bowl titles and also became the quarterback with the most career Super Bowl touchdown passes.
